I've been digging around for a few days now. Hoping I can get some quality recommendations on the most discreet appendix holsters possible for the glock 42.

Discretion & comfort are key. Would like a wedge or wing to push the butt into my body.

Best options I'm finding so far, so you know where my head is:
Darkstar hitchhiker Hitchhiker for G42
Tulster profile (but no G42 option)

Does anyone have some experience to share? First time carrier....

AIWB doesn't work well with smaller pistols like the G42, especially comfort-wise.
I was also going to say this. A way to mitigate it is to get say a 19 sized holster if you’re going to carry a 26 but that’s not really an option with a 42. My go to AIWB rigs are mostly Sidecar style holsters from LAS Concealment, Tier 1 or JM Custom Kydex for Jon Sidecar styles. JM might have an option for extending the length.

GCODE ECLIPSE

Great retention in and out of your pants. That may matter to you if you remove your pistol for long drives or need to enter prohibited buildings during the day or to use a restroom.

One hand removal. Your thumb around the grip like normal and your middle finger releasing the clip from your belt line. Reinstalling into your waistband is almost as simple, same grip on the holster just pull your pants out with your support hand and stuff it in.

Using one clip allows some movement. Many people will not agree to this, I've heard people say a holster must be tight to the waist with a thick belt that allows no movement but I do not agree for a self defense concealed carrier. Your frank and beans will appreciate the ability to adjust your holster more then you'll ever be in a gunfight.

But I don't need to wear a belt to keep my pants up so that is probably why some don't agree with me on this🤷‍♂️

Just my thoughts. Why does it have to be inside the waistband? And pointed at your junk. Take a look at this option.

I carry a G43 in it and it is the most comfortable holster for setting and drawing from a setting position such as in a car seat. Also concealment is very good. Minimum required is an untucked T shirt.

This looks good. If I ever get confident enough with the G42 to carry it I'm going to look into this.

It won't take long to build trust in the G42, they are like any other Glock. I carry a G43 in the above holster and it is always just right there and easy to get to no matter what I'm doing.
Also, very easy to manage in a public restroom.

Have owned 42 since 2014; been carrying the 42 since friday (usually a 365 or 43). Hiking, lawn work, lounging. Cheap, cheap kydex inside the waistband and molded to the specific gun. Have mid price (Raven)and cheap, cheap ($25) eg on your 6. I can wear the cheap, cheap for 12 hrs and not even know its there. I’m 6’ 32” waist. You can spend a lot more. Almost all my IWB holsters are inexpensive and comfortable. I just assure they fit and i like an exposed mag release. Always wear a 1.25” gun belt, belt clip standard, cheap, cheap 1.5”.
