    If the round is held firmly against the breech face by the extractor...it should go bang. If the round slips in front of the extractor...there could be an explosion. If you want to fire 40's from you G20 (or any other gun chambered in 10mm) it's a whole lot smarter and safer to get a correctly chambered replacement barrel.
