Can I shoot plated ammo out of a Glock in 40? (West Coast & Rainier)

I have heard alot about the unsupported chamber in the Glock 40 pistols. Is it safe to shoot reloads or is an aftermarket barrel needed? I want a 40 cal. pistol to shoot reloads out of and don't want any brass problems.

    thanks in advance.

Plated bullets are fine. as far as reloads, just don't load really hot and you won't have a problem.

How many times do you reload your brass when using a Glock 40?

I always hear warnings about not loading it to "hot". What would be considered to hot? Is a 165gr. @ 1050 fps to hot? The "hot" lable just seems very gray to me. What may be hot to me may not be hot to you. What do you use for your regular shooting ammo?

    thanks
