Are there any differences at all between the two magazines?

I asking because I got a .357 Sig barrel for my G23. The general consensus is that the .40 magazine of the G23 will handle 357 Sig rounds. Is there any risk of failure by NOT using the G32 Magazine?

Anyone have any direct experience or knowledge on this issue? Thanks!

I have an OEM G33 barrel in my G27. I use G33 magazines when I carry it. I figure, why not? If just for range use it wouldn't matter. Probably doesn't matter for carry either but I am a cautious man.

I was looking at steel rear sights on Glock.com tonight and noticed the correct followers are only $2 each, 13rd are different than 10rd.

Where did you get your G32 barrel? I've looked, but I'm still waiting for the gun to arrive and I'm not sure I'll keep it. I got a good price used with 7 13rd and 1 22rd mags and only 1 of them has been used. The gun didn't appear to have had many rounds thru so for $365 I figure I can resell if I can't deal with the finger grooves.

Unless the chamber is really tight I think that bottleneck 357 will jump right in there with the G23 mags. Let us know how it works out.

I have 8 G22 mags I use in my G31 no issues thus far HOWEVER, there is a reason Glock made 2 different followers so I have 4 G31 magazines while on duty and 8 for dance days.
I have considered purchasing 357sig followers and New springs to convert but it has been low priority.

I think in new mags the followers are the same part number .

    I could be wrong .

Also I have heard MANY times that the .40 mags will work in .357 autos (Glocks).

    For real tho .

    I finally got a g-3 32 last week , you got a great deal on yours .

I wanted the 'Tinniffer ' finish & that put almost all gen 4's off my list . So gen 5 357 is what my GSSF Cert is waiting for .

I have Gen 4 23 that I've purchased a OEM Glock 32 barrel and all I've ever used has been the 40 cal mags that came with the 23 and stock 22 mags, 40 or 357 doesn't matter, never a problem.

I have both .40 & .357 Glock mags. I never noticed any differences. Both work with whatever rounds are in them.

I use em interchangeably. I keep an extra .40 (G22) mag in my range box that I use to shoot sig w/ a barrel swap.

the .40/.357 guns are 100% identical save for the caliber markings, barrel (obviously) and I think the sites are adjusted like .002" differently.

Back when I carried a G31C as a duty weapon all I used was G22 mags and never had a problem.

No issues. I needed a few dozen range mags and went to our local LE dealer and he didn't have any 31 mags so I bought Glock 22 mags and we've had no issues.
