There seems to be a trend to vote for a third party candidate as well as financial backing of third candidates by the liberals. All I can say is that if you vote for a third paryy at this time you are dodging your responsibilities to our republic by voting to a realistically ineffectial candidate. If liberals win by a meager margin then you are deserving of what you receive. Realistically such a vote is really a vote for the liberals. Enough said.

Is it better to vote 3rd party or not vote at all?

Depends what 3rd party you vote for. Goes both ways doesn’t it.

The virtue signaling and superiority complex of Libertarian voters is pathetic and hurts our nation by helping the Socialists win.

We have a Libertarian running for Governor in my State. Judging by the number of signs I see in yards he apparently is getting traction. I hope he doesn't help to elect a Democrat to the Governors mansion.

I'm fine with progressives voting for the Green Party to protest what the Democrat Party did to Sanders.

The third party. That is because if you don't vote at all then a bunch of people will tell you that you have no right to complain. At least that is my take on the question.

NO! I'm not being flexible here. electing a liberal regime will, as far as we can foretell the future set us back in all wayssocially politically and financially.

I agree. These idiots that “vote for the best candidate” clearly dont understand a two party system. A VERY POPULAR 3rd party candidate could win an election but that is very rare in two party politics. Voting 3rd party IS a vote for the socialist communist candidate. Period.

It is NOT possible for a third party to win the this presidential election. It seems voting that way would be wasting your vote.

Yep. Not only that but it effectively deprives one of the two main candidates of a vote, which helps the other of the two main candidates.

There is a very good reason why the Democrats are financially supporting Libertarian candidates. It's in their own best interest to do so.

I started voting 3rd party(Ross Perot) 10 minutes after President Reagan left office and the so called Republican Party left me! Continued to vote 3rd party until Traitor44(Obama) was running for president. Voted for Traitor McCain and then voted for second Traitor Romney. Voted for President Trump and will vote for him again including any of his off spring!

I disagree. About half of the leftists in the US should definitely vote for the Green Party. :devildance:

If the GOP was smarter they would be financially supporting the Greens just like the Dims are supporting the Libertarians.

This is only my sample of local districts, state wide and national level, so it may be different other places. Here in my sample there are virtually zero libertarians, at any level, running. Why should they be supported on a national level, as with the Presidential election but can't even run a viable candidate for city council, school board, judge, state house and senate seats?

This isn't meant to be a dig at libertarians, I am genuinely curious.

There are people on this forum who will help elect a Democrat by voting for someone other than Trump - and somehow they think they are better for it... Idiots.

Every vote (or non vote) that is not for Donald Trump is effectively a vote to help Biden/Harris get into office.

You’re in for a world of pain if that happens.

Like your magazine-fed semi-auto firearms? Tough. Kiss them goodbye.

National laws will make California look fair and reasonable.

Vote for Trump, or vote for the end of the 2A as we know it. Those are your two choices.

Plus there’s Supreme Court and Federal picks, taxes, green new deal and a bunch of other stuff. But I thought I’d keep it simple for the GT deniers.
