300GB Seagate External for $149

    Just picked it up at Frys because I have maxed out my 300 gig HD with movies. I hate Frys as much as the next guy but its worth the trouble.

    Notice my name? I mostly DL movies (700mb ish) and whole seasons of TV shows (2-10gigs).

    Yep. I put that together too.

    As someone who runs the IT dept of a small company, I bet you have access to TONS of bandwidth too.

    If you wait I'm sure you can pick up a 500gig Seagate for less than $100.

    Fry's was selling one a few months back for about that much. Can't recall if it was serial or ide though (and was most likely 8MB cache). Probably was IDE, but the serials have been dropping a lot in price lately, so who knows. And been seeing a lot of good deals for the drives with 16MB cache...

    Buy a enclosure for about $30 and you're set...
