Ordered Nov 1 of last year and the dealer claims still no update from Glock. Is this even remotely possible?

It's a GSSF purchase but should that even matter?

Originally they said 6-8 weeks. Anybody else experience such long waits?

Yeah that's BS. Sounds like your LGS are a bunch of lazy MF's and are feeding you a line of bull. I've had three blue labels ordered and received in your timeframe.

So, what do I do? Can I ask for their order number to Glock and call myself?

    Glocks number is public information.

    GLOCK, Inc.
    6000 Highlands Parkway
    Smyrna, GA 30082
    U.S.A.
    Tel.: +1 770 - 432 1202
    Fax: +1 770 - 433 8719

Second, ask for your money back, if they can't find it, or getting one then they should have no problems issing a full refund.

Im using a Coupon so they were the only local dealer. It's not like I can just call Glock without knowing the dealers order number as its them who ordered it, not me.

I would cancel the order (heck with the coupon, but I am impaitent) and get one off Gunbroker or Glockmeister.
I got a Glock 29SF from Glockmeister for ~$547 shipped + $20 transfer fee (about when you placed your order).
Not sure how much you would potentially save with that coupon, but I have had possession of mine for months (subjectively worth a few $).

Sir, you would be checking availability of the weapon andhow long the back log is, if any. Glock would tell you that.

Maybe the issue here is the coupon. This is firts for me, gun coupon:wow: .:faint:

That seems to long if the order was placed beginning of Nov. I read about a recent memo from Glock stated that 'current' Blue Label orders are at ~150 days lead time...but back in November it was shorter.

Some shops might not like dealing with the GSSF coupons...especially if the pistol is in shortage/demand when customers will pay full price.

Walked into a local gun shop and there it was, a 29sf. This was after an exhaustive search in Indiana for one & it was at a great shop near my home. Not anymore, tho.
