Recently purchased a 26 round clip at my local range, the clip seems to be a bit tight when fully loaded. Anyone having similar issues. (impulse buy bought it because it looks cool)

Those are non factory mags, they won't fit like the factory ones.

My Marine buddy told me that everytime someone said the word "clip" at the range instead of magazine, they got a paper clip thrown at them,

Some guy was telling me he had over 75 pistols the other day. He then said something about inserting a "clip" and lost all respectability.

Wow thanks for all the clarification, and really neat photos. It is an aftermarket MAGAZINE Guess you get what you pay for.

I just learned the hard way myself about how and what you post on here can result in either people cooperating with you or giving you a **** ton of grief. Take it from a fellow "rookie" to the gun forums, dont get all butt hurt about it. Your time will come to bust someones balls

Back to helping you. What do you mean by tight? I don't think Glock makes a hi capacity mag for 45 ACP so it would be a cheap Chinese product and we all know how good their craftsmanship and quality control is.

It was not a glock mag. Although looks just like one without the glock branding. It seems to take a bit more force to get the mag to catch.

Your talking about when you insert a fully loaded mag into the mag well. Lock the slide back and see if the top round is pushing against the ejector. If that is the problem then you may want to go with one less round till the mag spring breaks in or risk damaging the ejector. If that is not the problem then it may be the cut in the mag itself. You can use a square file to remove material from the catch cut till it fits better.

They're not "Nazis". They're "Linguistics Enforcers"; this title entitles them to higher consulting fees.

That mag sounds like a Scherer. They are fun for range use. In about 150 rounds, you will start to see chipping at the top front where the round strikes as the next round is being extracted from the mag.

    Welcome to the board.

Doosie is a word that I wish was used more than it actually is.
