i have been ccw my 30sf for awhile and have decided that it is to heavy and bulky for edc. i was wonder what would be the easiest to conceal? i use to have a 27 (traded it before i started ccw)so i got good idea about the 26 but i have never fired a 36 any thought on what would be the easiest to conceal? i always carry appendix or either crossdraw. so i'm thinking the 26 with the shorter barrel. any pics of the two would be nice

I like the G-26 for several reasons. Nice short grip, Cheap ammo, High cap, can take 10, 15, 17 and 33 round mags.

I'm sure the G-36 is a fine pistol though. Good luck.

Depends if you want to stay with the 45ACP.
    36 is easy to carry.

G26, more capacity, even with a standard magazine...

First, there is nothing difficult about carrying a G30 if you have a good holster and a proper gun belt. Do you? If you really want something noticeably smaller and lighter, the 26 is a good bet as it is 7 3/4 oz lighter than the 30 and almost a full ounce lighter than the 36 while carrying two more rounds. Don't forget about capacity!

    G26 or G36...
You couldn't go wrong either way.

    You need one of each.

I have both the 26 and 36. I carry my 36 the most. I love the pistol. I am confident that it is all I need and I hit what I aim at with it. A 230 grain hollow point to the sternum is a deadly fight stopper.

However, I carry the 26 once in a while and I am just fine with it. I like the 26 a lot. I have no doubt in the hands of a competent shooter who doesn't have the "spray and pray" philosophy it will do the job just fine.

I must say that I absolutely love the 36.

Get whatever YOU want. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.:wavey:

Glock 26 would be my choice. I'll take 11-12rds 9mm vs. 7rds .45acp: Citizen: Caliber Acedemic?. If I want/need .45acp any given day I'll just tote 11rds in my G30.
