is the 26 frame strong enough to convert to 40 sw? are 27 and 26 frames the same?
The 26,27,33 and 39 frames are all the same.
so the big thing is that I need the 40 sw ejector?
No, I didn’t say that at all. I said all the frames are the same. Glock Inc uses the same frame as the base of all 4 pistols. There are other parts that are different, that is why they are designated as different models. You asked if the G26 frames are strong enough. Yes, it is strong enough to build a 26/27/33/39 pistol.... If you have all the correct parts
the trigger hsg has the 40 sw ejector? is that right? thats why I need to replace the 26 hsg with a 27 hsg?
If you want to convert your G26 into a G27 you need the following:
1) A G27 complete top end
2) A 40 cal trigger housing
3) A G27 magazine
You can NOT convert a G26 to a G27 with a simple barrel change.
