Looking for a smooth faced OEM trigger for the 26 & 27.... is there such a creature?
Yes, get one for a 17/22.
You will need to order a full size frame trigger. The Subcompacts come with a "Sport Trigger" for BATFE importation points.
Yep, fullsize trigger assembly, and it's glorious. I also reduce the safety bar a bit, make it more contoured to the trigger face. Perfection.
Glock make it easy.
You can order one from glock parts.com I just ordered a couple and they were in stock.
I just ordered one for my Gen 3 EXO G27.
topgunsupply, midway sold out.
Should complement my Ghost Rocket 3.5 nicely!
I agree about the safety bar, if not trimmed, it can be as annoying as the trigger grooves themselves.
got one from midwayusa.com
Got mine from CTD last week. $18.78 shipped.
Gt them got free on all 3 of my glocks at a GSSF match
Thanks, I was looking for one also for my G27 I got coming in tomorrow....where's the cheapest place to buy them?
I was wondering if they would swap them out for people. I just don't want to show up, swap triggers then try and compete.
There is 2 list for sale in the classifieds for $11 well just 1 now, I bought one..
At the Conyers GSSF match, I asked the armorer if he would swap out my GEN4 G19 trigger for a smooth one while he was replacing my connector, ejector and RSA - he told me that he couldn't due to company policy.
whats the big deal with the grooves? i have full size mid size and subcompact glocks and in dont even notice the differences i the triggers
Huge difference in feel. You must not have any feeling in you trigger finger. I replaced the grooved on my G23. because I did not like the fact that my finger just feels like it rides the trigger bar and makes very little contact with the trigger surface itself. The grooved trigger feels more like it was made to ride on the inside of your first knuckle than the pad of your finger. The smooth trigger feels 10x better in my opinion and I will never use a grooved trigger again.
What did you use to shave down the trigger bar? Dremel? And if so what grinding tip?
