Friday coming home form work I had $25 in my pocket. And there is a casino. Stop, play, walk out with $800. Time to go to the Tulsa Gun Show Saturday morning. :) That resulted in the above purchase.

NIB M&P 9mm Talo. It does have a finish defect on the other side of the slide near the muzzle. That defect brought with it a very good deal.

I put 400 rounds through it yesterday after a good cleaning and total inspection. The hard drive was the first target. 17 rounds of 4.3gn of TightGroup under 124gn XTP at 10 yards. Shot that 100 lot up and switched to 100 rounds of Remington Express 115 gn JHP #R9MM1. It then digested a 100 rounds of 124gn XTP over 4.5gn of TightGroup. I then finished the day with 100 rounds of 147gn XTP over 3.6gn of TightGroup.

It ate 300 rounds of my reloads and 100 rounds of over priced retail ammo. Thank goodness it (retail) was a gift. :) Not one hiccup. No issues at all. All the brass came out fantastic. No dents, No bulged brass, No head shots and all landed in a nice tight pattern.

The egros are great! And the trigger is far better than my M&P .45 was out of the box. With a quick touch up and tune it will be great! It shot out very well.

Really glad the Creek Indians bought it for me.

    I'm very grateful. :wavey:

Nice! I never gamble. Odds are against me and I would have a rage stroke watching my hard earned money slip through my fingers. :steamed:

Great scale as long as you don't plan on using it as a scale.

I like my cheap little Lee Scale. Works great! As a matter of fact I will be making up some nuclear 10mm ammo tonight with it and the Hornady Trickler. Set it up and check with check weights and my digital scale and rock on.

I've had a lot of fun with the M&P 9mm. It really is a great shooting pistol.

Several weeks ago I was at one of my LGS. Had the Glock offerings, M&P 9 and PPQ out. I pretty much ruled the G17 and 19 out. Be them 3rd or 4th Gens. That left the Smith and PPQ. When I found this Talo gun that rulled out the PPQ. And the price I got it at was fantastic. But it does have a slight flaw in the finish up near the muzzle.

It also had a good trigger out of the box. I understand and can work on M&P triggers. So taking one to the next level is very easy for me. I like the break a M&P has. And I don't have to have a reset the feels and sounds like a WWII cricket clicker signaling device.

For me it points very natural just like my M&P .45. My G20 does not feel as good in hand as the .45 M&P. But I do love hurling hot loads out of that G20. :)

The new M&P now has 1k rounds through it trouble free. And I'm going to shoot it tomorrow. Being off work for Good Friday means I will burn some powder. :)

Yes I have found that mine works just fine to. I don't really like it, but it does do the job.

The casinos around my area seem to not pay out very well. Either that or I just have really unlucky friends!!

Man I would be the happiest man on earth if I walked away from the casino with hundreds of dollars. The first thing I would do upon leaving is head to the nearest gun shop and add something to my collection.
