Anyone know where 22 LR can be found these days?
was just at Walmart.. empty of all things .22lr and handgun ammo
Gander Mountain. $10 for a box of mini mags. meh!
The local gunshop/smith stores have it here.
Not much at WalMart.
Big5 and SportsAuthority (if you can afford it)
Was at BPS yesterday and they had plenty it looked like. I also picked up a couple boxes of winchester 9mm there.
Walmart has plenty here.
Got 500rds of Winchester 40gr subsonic at Bass Pro Shops yesterday.
My stockpile of 25k grew a little bit.
- on the world wide web. ALL YOU WANT! (yep, pretty shocking, but true )
I just saw some bricks at Walmart. They weren't 500s though. I didn't look long but it looked like they were boxes of 333 rounds. Don't know what the make or price was however. Looked like they had around 10 or more of the bricks. Might want to check your closest Walmart. Most of the local gun shops have them around where I live as well. It is finally getting easier find. Hope you find some near you soon.
How much do you want?
Better deal here:
Most gun stores and chain sporting good stores have it, mostly the Rem 500 packs...but at prices above Wal Mart bulk packs.
My local Wal-Mart gets it in every 1-2 weeks. Mostly the Winchester 333 or 555. Less so the Federal 550s (which is what works best in my semiautos).
I just bought a box of 525 Federal LRHPs for $18.99 from the local gun shop in NE Georgia...plenty around here, at least for now.
53 bricks, plus assorted loose boxes in the middle drawer on my gun cabinet.
Here we still have plenty.
500 (Winchester), 525 (Federal) and 333 (Winchester) mostly.
At the 22 store of course.
Bimart is managing to keep it on the shelf.
Walmart by me has had CCI minimags in stock lately.
Picked up about 800 rounds. They cost about double what the federal 550 packs cost, but they are better ammo so I guess it's worth it.
I was buying the Winchester 500 brick for $13 at Wal-Mart but they have not had those the last few times I have been in. I have enough for now though.
I found a couple of bricks in my stocking Christmas morning, so I guess Wal-Mart at the North Pole is stocked.
Our BiMart was out for the longest time, but it's been back for a few months. True Value/Coast to Coast has some but likes to get 25% more $$ per box. I only went in WW that one time (for nachos).
My local gun shop never ran out, the nuts were going to Walmart. I admit to picking up a couple of hundred rounds during the drought. I can't imagine how much some people must have laid back.
I miss the days when you could buy a brick of Winchester for $8.90 on sale at Rose's. Heck, I miss the SMLEs for $49.99 on sale at Rose's. They just reopened the store in Waynesboro, but it is like a Big Lots now. No guns and ammo.....
