I have found a like new ruger 10/22 special edition that has a wood stock and a factory 22 inch stainless barrel for 200 bucks. The 22 inch limited goes for about 300 new. I'm not worried about the price. I don't have a 10/22 at the moment and the only one I ever had, had a standard 16.1 inch barrel. I have read positives and negatives to having the longer 22 inch barrel, but don't know a lot about 10/22's. I am going to be using the gun for standard 22 stuff such as hunting and plinking. I will add a scope to the rifle. Should I buy this 22 inch barreled gun, or go buy a standard 16.1 inch barreled rifle for virtually the same money. Basically, money is not a factor at all in the decision, I just want the better gun. Thoughts and opinions please!
