We looked at a 2012 CR-V yesterday and we loved it! These Hondas have come a long way since 2004. We had a 2004 EX AWD that was nice, but the 2012 is so different and improved.

We looked at a EX-L with rear seat entertainment, leather, AWD and moonroof. When we stacked it against the Subaru Outback and Forester, the Honda has better features for the $.

We also liked it more than the Rav 4.

Any of you guys or gals own a newer CR-V?

My mom has a '10 (I think). It's a comfortable ride, but crossovers aren't my thing. Nice car though.

I have a 2010 CR-V. Really awesome options for the price and it has handled everything like a champ so far. My only issue is I wished the rear seats went back farther so my kids car seats would fit better. I also wish there was an option for a V-6. Overall I think it was a great purchase and stacks up well against the competition.

I liked the Rav4 better because of 0% financing and $500 rebate, both get high marks in CR.I test drove them both.

We ended up getting my wife's Rav4 mostly because of the engine. The V6 makes the Rav4 very fast for a small crossover.

    I have the 2011 CR-V SE

you are right about the older models my parents looked at the CRV around 1998 but didn't like them, after driving in my CRV they are thinking of purchasing a 2012 or 2013 model

Ironically I also looked at a RAV-4 but the Toyota dealership in town wouldn't negotiate the price down like Honda would

My girlfriend bought a 12 about 2 months ago. Personally I think it drives great, gas mileage is good, you can't beat it. It even came standard with a back up camara.

I was surprised at the roominess too. It had a nice sized cargo area. EX-L with rear seat entertainment center, heated leather, and AWD came in at under $29,000. I was very impressed with that, also. Honda has a winner on their hands with this CR-V.

I'm going to buy the wifey one in the fall. One thing I'm running into is they have such a high resale value it makes more sense to buy new than one that's a couple years old.

I got rid of a suburban a few years ago, and have been thinking about a fuel effecient cross over. Everyone seems to like the CRV, but I would be interested in views of similar vehicles.

I bought the 2011 last year. Could not be happier with it.

I've looked at the others, but the CR-V bests them all in price, features, space, and economy. These Hondas are impressive.

Got my 68-year old Mother into one last month. Great little crossover. She loves it. Gets better mileage than her 2001 Grand Prix GT. Rides so much better on the horrible CA roads.

You start a new vehicle thread every single day. You must know the car salesman in town on a first name basis.

    I like cars.

Now, go pound sand since you have nothing to contribute here other than criticism.

I might look at the Chevy Equinox, in that same small SUV category. Might be a little cheaper. I read that Ford Escape is new and may also be worth a look.
Need a vehicle that can carry my bike in the back. Love my Jeep Grand Cherokee but the monthly lease payment is a little steep and looking to save a bit.

    Sensitive much?

If it helps, the CRV is a great vehicle and would be a great choice. We looked at Kia, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai and ended up getting a 2012 Rav4.

I like cars, but I can't go test driving as much as I would like, I would change cars too much. I frequent insideline.com, caranddriver.com, the truthaboutcars.com and motortrend.com.
