Their in high demand so they get a price increase. I am sure they are very nice guns, but for a little more you can get a Les Baer.

the price increase is partly due to moving to forged frames and making their own parts.

That's almost exactly what I paid for my custom bobtailed Valor last summer.

Correct! DW is adding value to their 2010 line-up. Many think it's just a greedy price increase and nothing more. I'm sure there's a little more margin baked into the prices too.

    It's really neat!

I was considering having my customized Valor Ionbond finished, and mentioned it to Keith Lawton a year ago when I ordered my Valor.

So is DW going to offer ACTUAL Ion Bond as a finish?
Or, are they going to have a simular finish?

I've read a lot on the Ion Bond finish lately,....seems outstanding,
    but looks like about $350

I wouldn't stake my life on DW going with Ion Bond, but based on what I've read, it "appears" so.

I also read a post that the boys at Ion Bond are partnering with one of the guys over on Sig Forum.

If I find out more, I'll let you know. :)
