....who were the top 10 stock meister shooters for 2002? Using the lowest overall match scores.

I know I may be jumping the gun here w/the florida matches coming up.

Was just curious at where the marker is for the current top 10.

    Thanks guys,

    Jay

    Jay,

You can check all the match results at www.gssfonline.com

I would guess the top 10 scores to date are a little off the pace set in 2001.

..looks like, if you can break 60 @ Florida, you could make the top 10 GSSF Stockmeister shooters for 02.

..if you can break 70, you could be 1 of the top 10 GSSF am civ shooters for 02.

That's pretty tight. Only 10pts between the two.

Shooting in the 50s at Jax in Stock Meister may well not win you anything. Shooting in the 60s in AmCiv yields a very good chance of winning a pistol. Orlando is new and could well bring some new shooters from the south. I know it will bring some better shooters from the Tampa Bay area.

First, it's a long ten seconds from 70 to 60. Second, look at the hall of fame. The top 5 stockmeister scores all break 50, none of the Am-Civ scores break 60.

Think of it this way, those 10 seconds (or close to it) are how long it takes some to shoot the plates in Stockmeister, all 4 strings. To make that up is and would be harder done than said. ;)

..Made it back! It's soooooooo good to be warm again!

How long does it take to "look" or see a stage, from the beep, just looking through your sights, to each target? Add .30 sec for each trigger pressure, and you have your run, right?

If it looks good (sight alignment, sight picture) pressure the trigger w/out moving the weapon. More time focusing on the front sight won't make it any better or worse.

If you saw yourself pulling a shot, that's good, we all do that. But, if you didn't, your not looking.

I think ALL you guys are "masters", you just don't know it yet,..well Fire Glock knows it:) (ohh,..that's gonna leave a mark).

    See you in Florida.

    God Bless America,

    Jay
