How reliable is the +2 extension for the Glock 26? Anyone here use it?

Thanks

I had the Pearce on my G27 but just felt a tad better with something that Glock had assembled, so I went with that. They both work just fine.
When I bought the 26 for my wife, I had the fellow at Ed's put a
Glock +2 extension on one of the mags, more for a little extra grip
than for the extra shells.
It worked just fine. Later, I bought a pearce extension, and I
personally like it better, just for the way it feels in my hand, not
about quality.
Here is a Glock extension, if you just wanted to try one out.

Best of luck.
the gap plates was the best for me !!!!
The Glock 7151+ is the best extension for the G26, go for it you won't regret!
I've had Glock +2 on my G26 mags for years, never any problems...the Glock +2 will make your grip length the same as a G19, so it kinda defeats the purpose of going to a sub compact frame...I've also used Pearce +2 without issue and IMO are more aesthetically pleasing and slightly smaller, but I cannot get two extra rounds in the mag and can barely get one in...I'll eventually go back to Pearce just for the pinky finger hold, if I can't do it with 10 rounds then 12 rounds ain't gonna do it either!

Ran mine with a Pearce +2 for a while as well. Decided that I liked shooting the 26 best with no extension. Gonna pick up a 19 for when I need a little extra grip. I also couldn't get a 12th round in with the Pearce +2 on, only 11.
I HEARD THE SPRINGS ARENT RELIABLE BUT HELL JUST BUY A G19 IT WILL BE THE SAME SIZE THEN.:dunno:
Pierce +2 extension on 12 mags and Glock +2 on two mags. all work great. Like Pierce better as far as ergonomics and, silly me, the looks. I shoot better with extension magazines on my 26s vs stock 10rd. My wife is a better shot with her G26 with extensions as well. My father in law shoots better without extensions, but he used to his .380 j-frame keltecs which is tiny by comparison.
I have mags with both GAP plates and Glock OEM plates... Both are really reliable... Glock OEM is the way to go if you're looking for +2's that are UBER reliable IMHO!
I liked shooting the 26 best with no extension.

Same here. I shoot the G26 better with the stock 10 round magazine.
Used them on a G27 for yars and using then on my G19 right now. The only thing I did do was install a Wolff +10% spring. Worked perfect. The kit I ordered for my G19 included an ISMI extra power spring. So far so good.

+1, especially true to Gen4. The Pearce extension has too much gap and it pinches the pinky. The fatory Glock +2 is PUUUURfect.

In my case, I shoot better with the extension.
I'm sticking with the standard 10 round magazine for my 26. Having an additional 2 rounds is appealing, but I can't phantom the unnecessary problems that some are experiencing.

NEWSFLASH.........................

The G26 and the G19 mags use the same spring.
