Who cares if its not St. Patricks Day.......
MMMMMMM, corned beef. I always "kick it up a notch" with about a handfull of extra pickling spice, peppercorns, mustard seed, and red pepper flakes.
Leftovers get tossed into the next morning's skillet of corned beef hash served with poached eggs, hot sauce, and if appropriate, a spicy Bloody Mary.
I'm coming to your house for breakfast ;P
You would have like this then. It has extra pepper corns and three red chili peppers in the seasoning. It was hot and the heat built over the course of the meal. I thought it was good but it was a non starter for the kids.
Mmmm - the best thing about corned beef is the leftovers... few things are as good as corned beef hash!!
