Well yesterday I cooked venison spaghetti that was awesome, and today was Country Fried Venison with White gravy, snap peas, cheese grits, and home made jalapeno dill pickles. Top it off with a beer and It was a good eat.:eat:

    It was:wavey:

Spaghetti was also really good. The processor did good letting it hang long enough to get the game out and make it tender.

That looks really good. I cooked backstraps and bisquits and gravey the other day. I got my girlfriend to eat deer for the first time the other day. She didnt HATE it but it will grow on her.

My GF loved the spaghetti, but i think if it isn't smothered in sauce or something like that she won't really try.

Had the first 2 meals with venison of the season.

Saturday after killing the deer, dragging them out, skinning and quartering them I made bacon wrapped tenderloins. Put some BBQ dry rub on the meat, wrapped the tenderloins in bacon, then wrapped them up in tin foil. My grill switches between direct and indirect heat so I put it in the indirect position on low (about 250 degrees) for an hour, then went to direct heat, unwrapped the foil and crisped up the bacon. Served with baked potatoes and broccoli.

Then Sunday was back straps, dredged in pan searing flour (flour salt pepper), and fired, had tater tots and spinach to go with them. I tried making a red wine gravy to go with it but added way to much garlic and ended up tossing it out.
