    Hello all,

Took my new G21 Gen 4 and my wife's new G19 Gen 4 to the range yesterday. We put 100 rounds through each, I'll break it down as much as I can. New to owning Pistols, these are our first two!

G21: Shot like a champ! No FTF or FTE issues and all the brass ejected with no issues. Had maybe 3-5 bounce off my right forearm, but other than that no problems. I shot 100 rounds of Winchester 230 grain FMJ for target plinking purposes.

G19: Also shot like a champ, no FTE or FTF issues here either. It did however eject enough brass at my wife that I'm going to contact glock and get the ejecter/extractor replaced. Knew some people had issues coming into this so I wasn't really upset. The gun shot great and I have full confidence in it, as does my wife. She shot 100 Winchester 124 grain FMJ and 20 Hornaday 135 grain critical duty rounds. No decernable difference between how the gun shot both rounds. I checked her RSA and the numbers match the voluntary recall, I think I'll go ahead and get that switched out while I'm at it.

Sorry that was kind of short, on my phone!

You should shoot the 19 and make sure it isn't her grip that is causing the brass to hit her in the face. Then send it back to Glock

Gotcha, she seemed to be holding it correctly but I will double check. Thanks for the feedback, I admit there is a lot I don't know and want to learn.

Thanks again everyone! Quick question, where is the best place to buy ammo? Does anyone purchase it from online? Never purchased ammo online and just curious what sites are reliable and have good deals. I have a couple of places around here (Columbia, SC) where I am looking.

    Thanks again!

I usually just buy federal or wwb from walmart. One thing you might want to check out is underwood ammo.
