19X +2 mags - factory springs GTG?

  1. Anyone have input on the 19x +2 mag reliability with stock springs? Are they sufficient or do they need to be upgraded?

    Thanks!

  2. I haven't had any issues with mine.

  3. I have the +2 on 5 of my G45 mags and have had no issues whatsoever.

  4. Nice thread. I've been wondering about this as well. I ordered a couple of +2 mag extensions but haven't installed them because I was thinking about this same issue. Thanks for posting OP.

  5. If you are converting a stock 17 round mag to a 19 round mag with the 7151 floorplate and 7165 insert the stock spring needs to be replace with the 33601 11 coil spring.

  6. The 19X 19 rounders comes with the 11 coil spring from the factory, no needs to change, these mags are 100% reliable as they come.
FYI all 17 round mags comes with a 10 coil spring and if you add the Glock 7151+ extension you don’t need to change the spring, it will work but you can also use the 11 coil spring with no problems but is not mandatory.

  7. For peace of mind get Wolf +10% power springs.

  8. Why invite a possible malfunction by not installing the 11 coil 33601 spring with the 7151 floorplate and 7165 insert as recommended by Glock. Of course, you can choose to use the 10 coil spring and save $4. Your call...

  9. I tired a couple of +2 bases and used the standard springs on G19 mags only to discover after keeping them loaded for 30 days (testing for edc) that they wouldn’t lock the gun open. Replaced the spring with G17 mag springs and now are 100%
