I have been trying to get the correct look with this Colt that I recently acquired. It has gone from this....

I do believe I like the wood checkered grips the best. They still give the Colt that vintage look.

Looks great,.....been kicking myself in the azz for not buying that. :dunno:
You really missed out. The pics do not do it justice. It is in stunning condition. It would have made a great addition to anybody's collection. I have to say that I have been rather fortunate of late.

I think all it needs is some "double diamond" Coco Bolo wood grips and it would be finished.

Nice pistol.

I know,.....it was a local sale for me as well. I just didn't get off the pot soon enough. Glad to see YOU got it! :supergrin:
