It's your gun so whatever floats your boat.

I don't think that the flat trigger is any less gimmicky than skeletonized hammers with the oblong shape instead of round shape. Or a thumb safety with "this" type of curved extension versus "that' type of curved extension.

I've never tried one, but I prefer a medium or long length solid trigger myself.

What I can't stand are 3-hole triggers on a 1911, and unfortunately most come with the darn things these days (like those awful looking front cocking serrations)

Ya.......those "skeletonized" triggers are just as ugly as flat triggers.

What would be really repulsive is a skeletonized flat trigger.
