I wouldn't do PayPal on a gun. They don't like that.
I just talked to him and the deal is a go . my FFL from his ffl , will keep posted .
The 17 M will be on its way, talked to the guy and it seemed good. My boy was at the FLETC some time ago and he new about there visits to Glock , will update .
I had no idea how out of control Glock "collecting" has gotten. $900 for a gen5 17? Yeah I know it has an M after it. Does anyone else not find this rediculous?
Hell, I'm gonna start stamping M's on some gen 5's. Lol
I have a gen 5/17 , night sights and I was going to mill the slide stamp M, but just not the same . That was cheap some were 1700, 2200 etc . I would not go that high . a 19M is more if it comes up
That’s great news, pics when you get it
I’m glad to see someone from this forum was able to capitalize on my posting. I’m looking forward to seeing the pics myself. I already have NIB 17M and didn’t want another. Blessed to have what I have and glad to pay it forward.
Yea it’s silly. Plus this sounds like a scam. All when you can go buy a new Gen 5 right now for $500, and will be able to pick up an elusive M for $350 in a couple years when police trade ins start showing up on AIM surplus.
But hey it’s not my money.
I put bid after bid in on Gunbroke for the few I did see , all were 1465,1700,2200 . some manuals go crazy on price , the boxes are bringing big bucks also . next I want a gen 1 with the silver gray looking barrel . I also picked up a new Colt series 70 Stainless remake of the older Colt . I paid 995 but years back I bought them for 250. About all fed guns are cut up you will not see the M guns around like some other side arms .
That Jayman is a good guy, IIII think .
Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to police trades in a few years now that LE is going back to 9mm.
The Fed guns may never get a release to be resold ????
This 17 M is in bound to my FFL and has a delivery date of Fri, Fact test fire only , 7rd function check and then off to another member in warranty dept, additional 10 rd POA/POI 15 yard, 124 Aguila This guy was real nice to deal with once we got hooked up . We did talk on the phone about it and did the Email thing . his FFL to my FFL
Sound like a liberal telling people how to spend their money.
I’m not telling anyone what to do. Just saying it like it is.
There’s thousand+ officer agencies carrying those guns and there will be more to come. In 5 years or less they’re going to start to be traded out. Glock isn’t going to buy them back and melt them down so that a civilian can’t get his hands on an M....
They’re going to hit the market at used-Glock prices. No need to panic.
Like they did with the Gen1 19? Not everyone wants to wait, I know I’d pay a premium to finish my collection below. Might not make sense to you or anyone else but unless someone else is covering my bills it’s my concern solely.
Dude the feds aren’t the only ones carrying them. Indianapolis PD and the South Carolina Highway patrol are two known agencies so far. That’s 3,000+ guns (17M). Many other agencies will get them too most likely.
You might be right , When CHP went to the newer 4006 with rail , I drooled and waited 10 years till now and got one . I will have my M gun Friday I feel mine was cheap compared to the 1465 ,1700 ,2200 for some others . I have a 17/5 19/5 and just picked up a 45 all with night sights . I think one will go .
Got the 17M today looks great , The seller was very good to deal with , very fast shipper . I made a good contact with this one , and Thanks Jayman 28 for the tip. Never fired except the test rounds .
Glad you got the M
