    Is it really without the finger grooves on the frame?

    That was probably a 2.5 Gen. There were a few 2nd gens that were made with the light rails and no finger grooves, they are not common

    He's saying grooves and a rail. Thats a 3rd gen? If it had grooves and no rail it would be 2.5.

    did it have a loaded chamber indicator? if not, prob gen 2.5
