Dont think the economies will fail? How about 15 nations borrowing 10.2 trillion in the next year to cover interests, bonds and debt.

Now stop for just a moment, and think. Every nation is borrowing, so who is ultimatly the source of the debt to? Central banks and the IMF? The world bank? Who is ultimatly the holder of all these debts?

California borrows $40 million PER DAY for unemployment payments. How do you think they will ever get out of that?

    Sovereign debt-

According to the best minds here at GT, such things are irrelevant.

    Massive inflation worldwide?

The more I read about economics the less I understand. Rabbi will be around shortly to provide some useful insight.

All the financial experts are either total idiots, or secretly plotting to rule the world.

Its guys who work 40+ hours per week and then spend their spare time posting on gun forums that have all the real answers.

    Here's one:

Who are they going to borrow it from? The US is broke, and most of China's money is tied up in..... the US.

If the government gets to print out however much money it wants why can't I? Seems fair to me.

Once the whole thing collapses sounds like a good time for everyone to cancel all debt, scrap their currency, and institute a worldwide currency.

Before I would have said "Crazy talk!" Now that sort of thing sounds almost plausible. Gives me the shivers.

But... then that would or might mean that the conspiracy "nuts" might be right and not nuts after all! :whistling: Man, what a kick in the balls that would be to everyone that laughed at them... but then if this were true I don't foresee much laughter in anyone's future.

So my question is... what if it comes to pass? Would you still mock people and their opinion based on what they see? Just curious.

    Mock people?
Do you mean the "tin foil hat" comment above?

It was actually sarcasm to mock those who are so quick to accuse anyone hinting of collusion in high places as being a "conspiracy theorist".
    Irony...
