Yes, I bought 5 pair, @ $15, total $75 investment. How could I lose at that price? They have been a constant fuskifying annoyance.

Apparently, my 50 year old butt cannot hold up these pants, but does just fine with the $75 same style pants, in better material, from who knows, I'm not paying $75 for pants again.

The focklarneyed 511 pants gravitate down, down, down, no matter how tight my belt. Even my holster doesn't help. I'm constantly hitching the gobsmackin' things up.

And the 511's bind on my front thighs. My butt is lilliputian, but by thighs are herculean. In actuality, no. But in 511 land, low speed high drag guys (did I get that right?) are not sized like me.

I can barely walk on a flat, much less an incline. Ha ha, I'm talking about the pants, not my fitness, you postulates.

Let's not talk about my fitness, OK?

What is wrong with these trousers (pants)? What about the cut doesn't work for me?

Thanks, and apologies to Norm Crosby. I was trying for malapropisms, but I think I got mostly - I don't know. Except for "postulates" ... that's pretty close :tongueout:

There's a reason old guys wear polyester. It stretches.

    You could also try suspenders.

If they are my size, I will buy them from you for $10.00 each and I will pay shipping. I wear 511 pants EVERYDAY. They are the most comfortable and practical pants I have worn. I do have some polyester to trade if you want ....:whistling:

So the man writes a bad review................ and you all want to buy them. Only on GnG does this logic work.

I have owned at least 10 pairs of 511 classic tactical pants, IMO they are some of the most comfortable and convenient pants. I also have 3 pairs of 511 BDUs and they are even more comfortable and stay up better than the classic tacticals. Might give the BDUs a try, much more baggy and stay up even without a belt.

buying Levy's. Levy supports the Brady Campaign as well as other anti gun organizations.

Every time you buy Levy's, you are financing the Brady org.

Good to know but any actual proof of it. I'd like to see it before I swear off Levi's forever. They're certainly not the only jeans I wear but have been a favorite for years.

As far as the 5.11's go, I own two pairs of the tactical and one of the tac lite, much more comfortable than the tru-specs I bought. I can't complain.

Years ago(Clinton era) I wrote to Levi's explaining why I would never again buy their products. They wrote back explaining why they donated 2 million to the Brady bunch. Been wearing Wranglers ever since.

Like the 5.11 trousers and shorts but they need to fit properly to wear right.

if you find any of the civilan BDU's made by "Camo Distributors" they are fairly decent. I lucked into 4 pairs of gray ones at goodwill in "big fat lardo" size and I'm very happy with them. I think they're what the Sportsman's guide sells for $15 a pair

Nice list, I am no longer a Levi's customer. Apparently I can no longer watch Rambo movies either. A few of the anti-gun celebrities surprised me.
