Try this... Once you put your 14th round in the 15 round mag, shake it. Does it rattle? Because mine does. But only on the 14th round. Why is this?

It happens because you're shaking it.......

    :)

There's just one round in there that's not being held in place by the others, put the other round in it......and quit shaking it! (someone will think you're playing with it)

    :)

its not like im shaking my mag vigorously. it just sounds like a piece is rattling around inside until i put the last round in.

Butch is right - If you shake it more than 3 times, youre playing with it.

Mine does it with some mags, but not others. I've not had any reliability issues from the ones that do. My 17 mags do this on some as well. From what I heard and seen it is not uncommon for some mags to exhibit this behavior.

I noticed this once on one of my G17 mags. I took the mag apart and the spring was not sitting properly on the magazine insert. I put the mag back together...no more rattles.:dunno:

Me too! That's the Military Police insignia.

I just took another pic to post as an avatar, I'll put it up shortly....not satisfied with it though, they aren't quite 'identical'. :)

Loose round in the mag. If it doesnt effect functionality its not a problem. I've never heard of it being a problem.
