Anyone here use 10rd mags at all? Range use or otherwise?

Was considering picking a Chip McCormick 10rd mag along with my order of 8rd power+ mags.

I have one and have used it at the range with zero issues. Probably end up carrying it for a spare mag.

I've had WC and McCormick's. The Wilson's were a waste of money. The spings are weak and have to constantly be replaced, but that doesn't matter as the thin bodies of WC never last long anyway.

    I just use McC's now.

Another vote here for the CMC 10 rounders. I have two that have been flawless in my Metro Arms gun. I did carry them for a while as spare mags, but just recently went back to carrying two extra 8 rounders. The only reason for the switch back is just because the longer ones dug into my kidney area when seated in a vehicle.

Hmm, I guess I'll pick up at least one then. Maybe a second and third if it performs 100% for me like my 8rd CMC mags.

Yea I had figured the extra length would interfere with carrying, but since IL doesn't exactly have concealed carry (except fanny packs and other such gun "cases") I wouldn't have to worry about the mag sitting flush, since the gun has to be unloaded anyways.

I have a 10 round wilson mag for the range & for a backup mag. Works as well as the rest.

Tripp Cobra 10 rounders for me. Seemless polished bodies. Hybrid followers and strong spring rate. My favorite magazines.
