I wonder if Obama is making a statement today, apologizing for Sergeant York's actions during the Great War.

Right! Sgt York didn’t complete those selfless acts, it was a network of millions that laid the franework to make those acts possible.

I saw some of his belongings in a war museum in downtown Nashville. It is a really cool piece of our history

    Love that movie!

Gary Cooper (Sgt York) does an interesting thing during the movie... When he's explaining how he overcame the machine gun nests, he's telling the commanders and motioning with his arm and hand how he moved around and flanked them. As he's doing this this, he's flipping off the camera! It's pretty obvious!
