    Several of them were introduced by Republicans and attempt to remove current restrictions, such as eliminating the federal mandate of "gun free" zones around schools.

    So if they do ban the sales of "high capacity clips", and it passes clearly stating "clips". Legally will high capacity mags be ok to buy & sell?

    After all, they do keep calling them clips. I'm being serious, if you were in court defending your self for purchasing or selling high capacity mags during a ban on high cpacity clips, could you prove that what you have are mags by definition and not "clips", and be freed because of the specific word clip?:dunno:

    ETA: I guess it depends on how they word it. Like adding "or any other device".
