Need to get a pair. By themselves, they get lonely
Tell me you didn't just say that.
And then it just gets better. Perhaps you should change your brand.
Haven't seen that commercial yet !
But I've been a customer of theirs for YEARS
Back to dueling feller bunchers and the dream of bringing farming to the steep slopes of the Sierras.
That's great for dropping the trees......now how do we plow the field to plant it ?
And the matching corn-picker has to be REALLY special
I hadn't thought of that. I'll bet some engineer will come up with a solution. Full speed ahead!
Ever heard that one before?
FWIW....When they were building Taladeaga Speedway, the paving machines were suspended by cables from the outer high banked walls on the turns. Every segment they paved was overlapping the next. Hardest part of building the track. Nobody thought about it until they were ready to put down asphalt !
and damn the torpedos !
Well, it's official. No rain is less than normal.
At least Fresno & L.A. are only down a little bit. We started getting a light mist about 10:00 this AM, and it's been on/off/on/off all day, ground just sloppy wet.
I Hate Mudd !
Harvey Mudd? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvey_Seeley_Mudd
No, a much later member of the family.....Harry Mudd. ref. Star Trek.."I, Mudd".
Dats Zit !!
Note the eyes & predominant chin shape of the gent in the left photo, compare it to H.S. Mudd.
The gent in the left photo is Rainn Wilson from The Office (the new Harry Mudd).
An excellent pick ! And don't forget the poor chap(Dr. Mudd) that treated John Wilkes Booth, not knowing about the attack on Lincoln. Got himself executed for living up to his Hippocratic oath, he did !
As opposed to the doctor that worked on Lincoln's head wound that gave him the actual infection that killed him.
Correct. Back then, the more blood that showed on a surgeon's coat, the "better" of a Dr. he was considered !
The only reason the infection didn't kill Lincoln was because he bled to death due to multiple bandage changes.
Now, back to your Illinois mud.
Yep, temp. right now is showing 39*, still drizziling, wet, sloppy. At least the Gator has hi-float tires, so getting out & around the place is easy, don't care about the "lawn" such as it is, if it gets killed off, that's less to mow. Out & about today, noticed that most cornfields that were standing on Sat. are now picked & cut, looks like everybody was a bit busy in the last 72 hrs !
We're supposed to see a high of 59* on Thur. and that will thaw enough to make a REAL mess of things. Just in time to get more snow on top of it....
Last night the sky opened up and we got about ten minutes of the cow peeing on a flat rock phenomena. It was genuinely strange. Hopefully it helps with the fire danger somewhat. Although I doubt that it rained everywhere; maybe just in my yard.
