OK, there's only 3 more matches on the 04/05 season so it's time to talk about equipment, caliber, or pistol changes for next year, 05/06. Who's changing and what are you changing to? :)

Well Jerry ...I took your advice and I have a new 17 with Bomars already to go. I received another Dillon 650 to start reloading those 147 grain Remington match grade bullets as well as VihtaVuori N330 powder...by the way whats your OAL on the bullets? Looks like Orlando will be next year I am scheduling the second hip replacement for late March or early April and can't wait to get active again.

If Pharoah or Lethal Tupperware (Pete and James) are reading this, guys it's time for you two as well to get er done...you owe yourselves the freedom.....2005 will be a great year!!!! ^c

A new hip installed a couple of months ago. The 147's/N330 and a Docter Sight on my 17L.

If I could do something about the range situation it would be a big help.

What the hell is going on with all these hip replacements? Are you guys modular or something?

I "need" a G26 for subcompact and a 34 for competition. I'm switching from my 21 to my 17 for AmCiv and will probably bite the bullet and either get a G30 for major sub or possibly just get rid of the ashley express sights on my 36, but I believe the 30 would be a much better game gun.

My goal is to get kicked out of Amatuer in 2005 by winning 3 certificates ;f

Old age and loose life styles is my guess. ;f

I like the 30 for Major Sub, when I shoot it. I'm sure that with a little effort you'll be in the deep end of the pool next year. :)

I'll be drowning in the deepend, but hey, how better to learn to swim REAL fast, eh?

I'm just looking forward to being able to say I'm a master class anything ;)

I want to change my location to Florida so I can be trained by the "Florida Gang". Should boost my skill level quite a bit. ;)

Pangris--be careful what you wish for. I did that, and now I need a G37 to shoot, because the drawing is about the only way I'm going to win another pistol. ;f

After Conyers I started getting ready for next year.

I bought a Carver mount and C-More so I can learn the ways of the dot. I mounted the combo on my G17, threw a Jarvis barrel in it and did some trigger work. Shooting the dot has really helped my shooting with the irons.

I also bought a G34 for Competition Class and USPSA.

Now I have to buy another G17 to use in Amatuer Gaurdian. I'm probably just gonna try to find a used one somewhere.

So for 2005/2006 I'll be shooting a G17 in Amatuer Guardian, a G26 in Subcompact, a G34 in Competition, and a modified G17 in Unlimited.

My goal for this new year is to break into the 70's!

I decided to sell my G17 about three minutes ago. Check your PMs.

Well equipment wise I don't plan on changing anything. May make a slight adjustment on my loads. Am planning a an "ATTITUDE" and some " Personal Physical" adjustments. Heck I have been told many years that I have needed an "Attitude" adjustment. ;f ;f ;f ;c ;c ;c

More focused practice now that 1st season over; could you ship some extra daylight up this way?

Actually, just gonna continue with the 17 in AC; Comp too (maybe w/34 barrel). Giving Heinies one more try during off-season, but I still like the Aro-Teks which are super-close to stock height and the last set I got from JR at Lonewolf had a very wide rear notch & are very good target sights IMO. The 34 is going to become an UL gun, just for fun, so have been checking out various dots, but it's pretty much gonna be a Carver, CMore and a 17L barrel. (There will be a comparison pic with dp177's project when it's done.) Above to the contrary, at this juncture for me it's more about beneficial practice than equipment. So...

The Christmas wish list (laying all over the house, which means I'll have to buy it anyway) has my very own timer at the top so I can keep better track when I'm practicing solo. Lastly, plan to double # of events in 2005.
