  1. General Glocking
Hi everyone! So I am a total noob with guns and Glocks. I brought home my first gun today, a Glock 43. I’ve spent hours reading posts in this forum, FB groups, and watching YouTube videos to educate myself and try to do things right. Apparently I still have lots to learn and I fear that I made...

Anyone know what kind of wood this is? I had a large tree come down and I just got around to cutting it up. I decided to take a section and rip it to maybe make a bench or something. Reverse image search isn’t much help so here goes! I added some of the leaves and of course the dollar bill.
  3. Gunsmithing
Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a strange issue that I have never come across with any glock, my Glock 21 is having problems tearing down (field stripping). After safety checking the firearm, I proceed to pull the trigger in a safe direction, pull the slide back (1/8 of an inch or whatever)...
  4. The Okie Corral
This time of year always gets me thinking of nice gestures people seem to do for strangers in need. I was talking to a co worker today and he told me about a woman in line at the grocery store in front of him buying some basic food items like produce, eggs & milk. She did not have her wallet...
  5. The Okie Corral
Hey folks, does anyone know the name of these two songs? I saw some advertisements from Cabot Guns, and these two videos have songs in them that I like. The first one sounds like a beautiful rendition of some sort of Gothic-like opera, and the second one is a blues guitar number that sounds...

I want to start this question off by saying I apologize if this is not the correct thread for this question or if it has already been addressed. If either of those are the case, I would appreciate someone to point me in the right direction. Again, new to this forum so I hope I'm winging this...

I made a glock 19 from an 80% polymer kit and the slide seem to not fully go to the rear of the rails causing the spent brass to not stovepipe but jam horizontally. is this an issue with the recoil spring or ejector?

So I removed the fingerg grooves on my glock 19, BUT I ****ED UP. If it's unsafe to shoot I am just going to order another lower from glockstore, but hopefully it's safe. the metal showing is the very bottom of the mag release spring.

I need the opinions of people who think more along the lines of me. If I asked this on a more Liberal forum, they'd tell me to grow up. So....perhaps I'm being a baby. But since the election, this has been slowly wearing on me, and I've come to a time where I need to ask this to a broader...
  10. General Glocking
Hello everyone: I am a cashier at a grocery store so I have a lot of weird conversations with people. I got into a conversation with a regular customer about glocks and he was saying that they aren't good because the barrel is set in polymer or something and will mash the polymer after about 500...

I have a new Glock 19. I only have about 20 rounds through it so far. One of my mags is a little stubborn getting in. Its not hard to get in but it just requires a bump. In doing so though I have noticed marks starting to form on the top round, around the top of the shell where the bullet meets...
  12. General Glocking
I just got my first glock yesterday. I was attempting to put on the medium beavertail strap ,and the long pin flew off somewhere when i was tapping it in. Is there anywhere I can buy addition pins of that size?

Hey guys. My name is Liam and I'm pretty new to the world of Glocking much less the Glock forum. So as the title may convey, I am seeking the wisdom of the Glock Talk forum on an issue I am having with my polymer80 spectre frame that I completed just recently. So to go into detail on the...

Hey, thank's for the add. There seems to be a lot of knowledge here. I'm John, 23 from Summit County, OH. I've been shooting guns most of life, and as far as handguns go, I tend to gravitate towards Glock. Recently joined GSSF (haven't competed), and have interest in other events. I have G27...
  15. Carry Issues
I never thought this would happen, after many years of asking my parents to have something at home for self-defense, my Dad just asked me to take him next Saturday to buy a revolver. My problem, I don’t know much about revolvers. He is in his 80s and mostly wants something to have at home...

The Topton Pa match is August 20th and 21st. I just received the following email from Match Director Lou Ciletti: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fellow Shooters The 2016 Keystone State Ballistic Challenge is two weeks away. If you have already...

This is driving me absolutely nuts!!!!!!!!!! So I'm trying to find a knife company based on an article I read in Tactical Knives about 2 years ago. I don't remember what issue, I can't find it online, and it's not listed on Tactical Knive's website (PersonalDefenseWorld.com). This is driving...

Trying to get into Three Gun but it is taking a while for me to buy each piece of equipment. As I'm only able to shoot about four times a year, I'm not looking the best/most expensive right off the bat, but something serviceable. I've been getting a lot of suggestions from fellow...
  19. General Glocking
I recently traded an older 9 for a fairly new g29 sf gen 3. I've owned 2 glocks before but not a subcompact. For piece of mind, and my safety, would someone take 2 pictures for me, 1st pic is a top down view of the frame/grip with the slide off and disconnected. So I can see the puny glock...
