Gunbroker has just about any firearm I'm looking for that someone is selling somewhere. I've purchased five guns on there and have had complete confidence in who I was dealing with each time by the seller's rating and that Gunbroker is overseeing things. It also gives you a sense of whether to deal local or not. A couple times the difference between my LGS and the price on the site was close enough to make me want to support my local guy and get it in my hands right now. But I've also scored some major bargains! Gunbroker is a great tool for gun and accessory buyers.

When I'm looking to sell a firearm, I check out the prices on Gunbroker. It helps me get a sense for what top dollar is, and if I overpaid when buying something. I highly recommend checking them out before going to a local gun store, or gun show to see what the high end of a price might be. You can find hard to get items here if you're looking for them, but I'm not a specific collector. I rarely find deals on new glocks there, but sometimes can find deals on trade in's...Keep in mind you still have whatever your FFL dealer charges for transfers as well.
