      Thanks to all of you for the information. I've been using wet tumbling with pins for a couple of years with great results. Might just be boredom, but I've started looking at ultrasonic cleaning for my brass and this thread makes me think i'll give it a try.

      I was looking at the Harbor Freight version that SARDG mentions in post #6 about the Lyman Turbo. The HF looks like the Lyman and it has the plastic basket with metal handles. Don't know if they're stainless. 79.99, Don't know if there would be a quality difference. Probably just have to try it.

      That HF unit is probably made by the same child-labor in the same Chinese factory as the Lyman. :( Several years ago, the HF model only had a shallow tray, but it appears to have the same basket as the Lyman now.

      Handles are SS on the Lyman - I tested with a magnet.
