I don’t like the way the flat trigger pressure contact is on the lower part of the finger rather than the center like in a curved trigger. Some other people might find that a bonus, but for a gun system I want everything consistent between guns.
I do! It’s actually a mix of 3 P365s and 2 P365XLs. I believe in having low round carry versions and high round practice guns.
With the ability to mix and match slides, grips and FCUs, I can cover the role of a G43 with a 10 round P365, a G43x with a P365 with XL grip module, and a G48/G19 with the P365XL with 15 round extension. All whenever I feel like it! With the ability to use any magazine in either grip module with base plate swap it’s even more versatile.
Of the 5, I have a:
P365MS iron sights with 12 round extension for carry.
P365MS (conversion) with red dot
P365XL iron sights
P365XL with red dot
P365MS practice gun with XL grip
All frames and slides are interchangeable.
JCN Ain't it great that we have choices ! We have a couple " straight" triggers . Not a fan of apex straight in my wifes M&P core but she likes it and I picked up a sigs p320 with a stock straight trigger and lighter 4LB pull weight and both feels right together .
So carry and shoot what you feel works best for you but you might want to trade off for something other than a p365 !
I have way more Glocks than that!
I think I have settled on the P365 platform as my main carry system because of the versatility. I just haven’t decided if the increased accuracy and shootability of the XL plus RDS is worth the extra bulk.
I am testing and practicing to answer the following questions:
How much improvement at self defense distances is there with the RDS?
How much improvement at self defense distances is there with the longer slide XL?
What’s the trade off in shootability between a slightly larger XL compared to the P365?
Eventually I’ll make a decision on what’s my optimal carry. Testing is fun and I like objective performance data to support “feelings.”
But then I picked up another XL and now have to pick up another replacement trigger...
Anyone want to swap their curved P365 trigger for a straight one?
I’ll send you the straight one first so you don’t have to be without a trigger. First one to PM me gets it. Just pay for shipping for both triggers and it’s yours....
Its trendy, like the ice bucket challenge and planking. If Glock had started with a flat trigger in 1983, today the new, awesome curved trigger would be all trendy. Ergonomic! Cradles the finger! Better pull for more accurate shots!

I haven't tried a flat trigger yet, and don't supppse I will unless someone lets me try theirs at the range. I am perfectly content with the curved triggers on my pistols.
As for the P365 in general...It has been the most impressive little pistol I have bought in forever. I simply can't sing its praises enough. Love it, love it, love it!
I actually prefer the flat face triggers, that is usually the first thing I do is put in a flat shoe in my Glocks & M&P's , I was lucky and got my P365 with a Flat Trigger already installed.
All people are different. Now I don't think I would want a Flat Trigger in a Revolver.
I like my 365's, but have not tried a flat trigger in them yet, so I am still curious and wanting to try and to form my own opinion. I have too much going on to delve into that realm of tinkering for now, but it is good to see what others like/don't like!
I don't like the flat trigger, either. But, what I hate more than the flat trigger is that Sig put a different trigger on the Sig P365 than it did on the P365 XL. I would have preferred that Sig be consistent so that one gun feels the same as the other.
Bumping a 5 month old thread, but just wanted to ask, how hard did you find it to swap triggers on this gun?
The P365 XL seems like a cool gun, but flat triggers that pivot have been a point of contention for me in the past. A curved trigger bow seems to make it easier to keep my finger in a consistent spot on the trigger. My biggest complaint with shooting the APX was that my finger tended to move around on the face of the trigger under recoil, which reduced my ability (I think) to be consistent in a way that I don't have to contend with on any other handgun I own. I think this is a unique problem with pivoting flat triggers because no matter where your finger pulls on a flat 1911 trigger, it won't affect the pull weight.
Prefer curvy with the ladies, flat with my triggers.
