One of the most interesting new pistols I've seen in a while...

I've been looking at this thing for the last couple of weeks. Its the FK Brno pistol out of the Czech Republic.

I'm not big on the proprietary cartridge, but its still cool. The design is obviously very heavily based on the CZ 75, but has some major differences too.

Its large and all steel, with a long barrel and tiny bore, so it must have some major heft to it. Its appears very well constructed and it also has no stupid rail to prevent me from buying it.

Unless I missed the projected MSRP, its not listed. However, that doesn't look like it comes cheap.

I know it won't appeal to many, but I like it. I can't wait to hear more details. ...looks pretty wild to me. :wavey:

I doubt Dillon has dies for it.

But it can defeat body armor; what will the Feds say. :whistling:

A hopped-up .32? Trying to grab a piece of the Five-Seven market -what there is of it?

Wonder what the role is? It looks like it is being marketed as a duty pistol, but who needs 100 meter accuracy with that? It makes more sense in the target world, but the vid was not emphasizing that role.

Ahhh...sold to countries that dont allow military cartridges... <DUH!>

It will be a fun gun to follow. But if I got one, I would have a 100 meter gun being operated by a 5 meter hand...:crying:

I'm not really buying the extreme accuracy thing. That's just a marketing ploy. However, it's a flat shooting round and an accurate design. With a ransom rest, there's no reason it wouldn't group well at 100 yards.

I have plenty of pistols already that would group well at that distance with a ransom rest. I can't group at that distance, because the sights take up the whole target, but a ransom is another story.

As for its purpose, I really couldn't care less. I just find it interesting. There are plenty of guns on the market with no practical purpose...

Very interesting. Wonder what the price will be and although if “reasonably” priced I might well be interested, I’d hate to get a gun and later, even perhaps very soon after, be a cartridge orphan.

Unprecedented capability at 100 yds? Not new, the .460 and .500 S&W Mags have that in spades. Pretty unprecedented in a semi auto, much flatter trajectory than a DE.

Sadly, the insane, anti gun crowd will probably have cows over the body armor capability featured in the video. Expect lots of efforts to ban the importation if it comes to the US market. Stupidity rules with the anti gun loonies. Don

Very interesting. Certainly something a bit off the beaten path as it were.

I don't know what kind of rig that pistol was locked in, but in THAT rig, my Beretta 9000S could group at 100 meters....

Any idea if it is available in the US? Or is this a European piece of hotness?

I have to hand it to you B, you come up with things so obscure we have never heard or seen. What I dig about your collection is it is your collection, you collect what is interesting to you.
Thanks for sharing.
