Firearm Gun Trigger Airsoft gun Gun barrel

What's weird about that is I never much liked Glocks. But bought the first 19X in March and liked it so well decided to buy another. First for a car gun. Second for a bedside gun. Paid $620 for each at Sportsman's Warehouse.

Guessing they put more effort into this for the military trials. LOVE the capacity.

Don't know if I'll go double rig like the Lone Ranger or Hopalong Cassidy.

Bought a chest holster for hiking, a cross draw holster, and a regular OWB holster for them. And they fit a couple old G30S holsters I had in the holster box.

Bought two extra 19 round mags and two Tuff Products 3 up Magazine holders so each now has 17 +1 with three 19 round back up mags. Math on that is 75 rounds I think...

Doubled up that's be 150 rounds....probably don't need extra mags if carrying both... Hopefully never need any...but "Be Prepared" and "Two is one, one is none" take on whole new meanings with these ladies.

Another 19X is on my short list.
Such a perfect pistol. It actually cured me from thinking about any other pistol purchases. Glock or otherwise.
This has never happened before. I usually tire of a gun after a few weeks and start looking for my next purchase or even trade in due to buyers remorse.
Not with the 19X, just makes me want more of them.
I have fallen under its spell.

Kinda in the same boat, the "this is great but what's next" hasn't set in for 3 months now, normally its like 2 weeks.

Doubt I can swing another one by the wife but my 17.4 can serve as backup carry/HD option.

What I'm obsessing over is a 6" 10mm conversion barrel for my Glock 21. Some quality range time with my RIA 10mm 1911 reminded me how much fun those handloads can be. Shot a nice 3" 18 round group, unsupported, indoors with bad light at 75 feet.

For me that's OUTSTANDING shooting at that range.

That is a beautiful pair. Congrats on your twins. I really like my 19X waiting on a black one. I hope Glock considers making them in black. Enjoy your new 19x’s

Never did much like basic black...always got my black guns Cerakoted better colors...but I guess you could Cerekote the coyote to black too.

I'm sure Glock will make a black one. Just look at Beretta, which nust announced a black M9A3..

Congratulations Riverkilt!!! I will also be adding another 19X in the future.

That is a totally baseless assertion, but believe it if it makes you feel better about your purchase. :) Glock parts in the G19X are the same parts with same part numbers as those used in commercial Gen5 pistols.

The G19X is NOT the pistol that was used in the military trials. But apparently many buy the illusion of the G19X being something better than just another commercial model that comes with night sights, maritime spring cups, easily-displaced lanyard butt plug, and color style more hyena than coyote.
LOVE the capacity.
Slightly increased capacity without the option of using a 15-round magazine in a Compact grip... I guess that reduces operator confusion... I guess. :)

I can't help thinking that if the G19 had come out AFTER the G19X, the G19 would be gettting all the accolades.

Well, the trigger pull is superior to the Gen 5 (Maybe the maritime cups), the frame is different and the finish is different (I like it better than the Gen 5 due to its tackyness)

Other than that, yep.

Congrads! Another 19X is on my hit list as well. Call it a brace of pistols, backup, or spare ... it just feels good and I shoot it better than I should. Mine loves Speer Lawman 147gr, accurate and reliable.

Just ordered up red and "green" slide plate covers from Lone Wolf so I can tell them apart without having to check the serial numbers. I'm happy - your mileage may vary.

Why would anyone buy the FIRST Glock 19X? I mean, seriously...of all the other choices out there....

Scott 60...that's the point - so unexpected....our mileage varies...so what? Is America a great country or what - we get choices...

Congrats on number 2. Now hurry up and get #3. You need to play catch up to the rest of us (I actually have 4 now but haven’t taken an updated pic yet).

I’m replacing all my Gen 4 G17 pistols with the G19x

BTW JBP55 go ahead and buy that 4th one and you can always will them to me when you die. I’ll make sure they have a good home amongst others of their kind.

Okay, took the new 19X to the range. As expected no problems other than the signature Glock Brass-to-the-Face. Aim was dead on. Even this old geezer could keep it within a 6 inch circle at 5 yards...gonna be my bedside gun so that works for me. Most pleased.
