A few weeks ago, YETI notified the NRA Foundation, as well as a number of other organizations, that we were eliminating a group of outdated discounting programs. When we notified the NRA Foundation and the other organizations of this change, YETI explained that we were offering them an alternative customization program broadly available to consumers and organizations, including the NRA Foundation. These facts directly contradict the inaccurate statement the NRA-ILA distributed on April 20.

Over priced! Cabelas also has these SUPER COOLERS if you need one!
NRA? They stand behind some things that don’t set with me or others, BUT WITHOUT THEM?
Gun ownership in your homes?
May have ended already.
The gun haters want them gone, they will not give up, EVER!
GUN OWNERS,HUNTERS,SPORT SHOOTERS, HOME AND PERSONEL PROTECTION, WE NEED THE NRA!
These are bad times with these coward killers, your right to keep your guns will be an ever increasing struggle

Avoid them both. The NRA capitulates on things they deem unnecessary and are not good stewards of our 2nd amendment.

Even if Yeti was a scrupulous company when it came to their viewpoint on the bill of rights, their prices are ridiculous. It's sad that outdoorsmen appreciate brand names enough for the market to even bear their prices.

I sent an email to yeti yesterday letting them know my stance and here below is their response...

We're writing in response to your recent email inquiry.

Further, the NRA-ILA stated in that same public communication that "[YETI has] declined to continue helping America's young people enjoy outdoor recreational activities." Nothing is further from the truth. YETI was founded more than 10 years ago with a passion for the outdoors, and over the course of our history we have actively and enthusiastically supported hunters, anglers and the broader outdoor community. We have been devoted to and will continue to directly support causes tied to our passion for the outdoors, including by working with many organizations that promote conservation and management of wildlife resources and habitat restoration. From our website to our film footage and from our social media posts to our ambassadors, YETI has always prominently featured hunters pursuing their passions. Moreover, YETI is unwavering in our belief in and commitment to the Constitution of the United States and its Second Amendment.

Thanks for reaching out to YETI.

If you b

if you believe any other organization helps us as much as NRA does, you're living in your own special world.
Would that be like when they rolled on gun owners and suggested bump stocks be banned?

That was BIG help to gun owners.

S
They did, it was more in relation to the Ruby Ridge and Waco situations that most people have a bad view point of anyway. I believe Bush senior let his life membership go over the same thing.
Sounds like you're pulling a quote way out of context. Some of the authorities at Waco and Ruby Ridge put a black mark on Law Enforcement that won't go away soon.

There are powerful and well funded organizations whose goal is to disarm me. I may not agree with all the tactics and methods of the NRA, but I realized a long time ago, they were the only choice I had if I wanted to protect my 2nd Amendment right. If someone has a better choice, please name it so I can join it.

No sarcasm intended - legitimate question. I'm an NRA Life Member, but also belong to GOA and a local organization. What other organizations would you recommend? Thanks!
You might add the 2nd Amendment Foundation or CCRKBA. Definitely stay away from NAGR (National Association for Gun Rights) it's a scam operation that claims credit for work done by the legitimate gun right's organizations.

the NRA is doing a lot for average gun owners. are they perfect ? NO. but how many of us could pass that same perfect test ?? in any case i will support the NRA as i believe they are doing a good job for all of us.

democrats don’t care how awful and lying / cheating terrible people that they put in office to steal our gun rights. dropping out of the NRA is supporting the very people trying to make everyone believe that gun owners are dangerous and evil, that semi auto sporting rifles are somehow military grade machine guns. so dumping on the nra is not a smart position.
