That will free up the waiting list...I want mine NOW
And, for all you "knockers" (you know what you can do)
ps: I do have ONE GLOCK it's 26, an early one and I do like it....but...
"Some of us" are always willing to try to find some gun that is just a little bit better...or are you stuck in the "Wagon Train"
Well until then you can do some drills on returning to battery so your good and ready! :cowboy:
I am going to get one too, not in a big hurry though. I have plenty to carry in the rotation to hold me over. Also waiting for some of my favorite holster makers to get the blue gun.
We had one in at the gun shop where I work now and the grip was actually a big small for my hand. Trigger was nice and having 10+1 is nice too but dang, small grip makes it a "no go" for me.
Yea,..... No! The 43 still works just fine, fits just fine and holds enough ammo for me.
If I was gonna risk the purchase of a US manufactured sig, I'd most likely get a P225-A1 and hope for the best.
Sig Sauer definitely needs to step up their quality control!!! A buddy of mine purchased a brand new P229 Legion and immediately the infamous PVD coating started flaking. Then of course I had to purchased the P320 X-Carry as soon as one came into a local shop. Oh boy, did I get a lemon! It's so bad I don't know whether to get upset or to laugh it off. EXTREMELY under sprung and will fail to feed with almost every brand of ammunition that I've tried... Not to mention it loves spitting hot brass onto my arms and back into my face
I don't hate it, I've never seen or touched one. I just don't give a **** about it because I have zero need for it and won't be spending my money on one. I honestly give no ****s if it's a reliable gun or a total piece of ****.
It's an interesting gun, but a little too short and too light for my taste. I'd like to see it closer to the size and weight of my G26, which is just about perfect for me.
That is a dogmatic assertion and not a defensible argument.
I understand the burning desire of some to say anything negative about Sig Sauer generally and the P365 specifically. Its an emotional response to the reality that Sig Sauer has B-slapped Gaston in the mouth by doing something Glock could never do: revolutionize the Pocket 9 genre. Glock was 10 years behind the curve with the 43, and we all know it. The market was already saturated with small 9's. Sig is years ahead of the curve with the P365 by stuffing 10+1 in a gun that fits in the 43's holster.
There is just no way to disparage the P365 objectively, so the only alternative is ad hominem attacks on the company itself. And its become an embarrassment to GT.
If it proves to be good to go I’ll definitely be in for one but not until then. I have a 43 and it has certainly proved to be light, thin, and dead reliable. A few months down the road, if all is well, I’ll see what my LGS can get me one for. With sluggish gun sales as they are I’ll wait till things settle out before I buy. If that takes 6 months or longer so be it. I need more ammo to a greater extent than I need another plastic pistol.

The market is saturated with 9mm carry pistols. I have no interest either. I started with a G19 and G26 years ago. Tried several others and I went back to Glock.
Me neither. In fact I think I have enough black plastic guns and am beginning to get real interested in large steel revolvers again. A pretty Smith, Colt, Kimber, or Ruger is a sight to behold. IMHO.
P365 is currently on my buy-list, but will be 2nd or 3rd year production.
I have been summer-carry a P938 for 3+ years, the sear pin started walking causing the trigger failed to reset. Sig charges $55 for warranty service — that sucks. This issue can be resolved if the sear pin is about 1mm longer.. I am going to replace it with a longer steel pin if the same 5/64 diameter. Dig should absorb shipping on all warranty service if you ask me.
That indeed really stinks considering that Ruger and S&W do warranty service for free and often give you a free call tag for shipping. So, what, $40-50 to ship to SIG and another $55 for repairs? Rapist charges if you ask me. Don
"Maybe" this is the PERFECT gun for me.....
So far I've liked the G 26, Shield 9 performance, Springfield XD 9....PPS, all are very nice.....but, who knows....
It will be in the line, what will it replace ??? Or not...
Sig built their version of the Kel-Tec P-11... and it only took them 22 years.... yeah revolutionary it is not.
