While at a large show this weekend I saw the 30th anniversary Glock that was presented to the NRA museum. What a beautiful gun. In reading about them I noted that several of the 30 guns were raffled off. Just curious, has anyone heard of any of them being sold? If so, what did they bring? What a score for the raffle winners!!!

No info on these?

I won one of the 30th anniversary guns, #19. The only one I know that was auctioned off was by the SOC-F and got $35,000.

Hi Pilot-
Thanks for the reply!!
After I started this thread I found the one about your gun and have replied to it a while ago.
That's just SO fantastic!!! You beat some incredible odds! I can't imagine how you felt when they told you that you won.
It will be very interesting to see what one of these guns brings if and when one is sold on a true (not charity) auction.
Some such as Cody, NRA etc. will never be sold so the pool of available guns will be even less than 30.
You have an incredible gun. Just amazing.
Thanks for sharing with us!!
I am very happy for you (if not a big jealous :)

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I found out I won. I won the Glock ID pistol for the online forum. There are over 200,000 members but I think you had to be active at least once in 2016. Still, probably over 10,000 or so in the drawing.

Glock told me it cost them over $5000 just to make the gun. They felt it may be worth around $15,000 for a private sale. Like you said, most of these guns went to museums (NRA and Cody) and special agencies. Maybe 7-8 went to the public. I'm very proud and lucky to have one of these pieces of Glock history!

Amazing!! Beautiful!! His did they inform u that u won? Can't imagine how awesome that was. Is there something signed by Mr Glock? Thanks for the pics!

They emailed me. I thought the email was fake at first! 2 days later I had to leave on a business trip to China. I couldn't say anything to anyone that I won the pistol until I had the gun in my possession. That was a long trip trip in China I tell you. Finally got the pistol 2 weeks later. Yes it came with a hand signed letter of authenticity from Mr. Glock himself. It's inside that black folder in the last pic.

It came with the standard plastic case and accessories, and one 10 shot mag. Case has standard gen4 pink label but says "30th Anniversary".

Yeah, thinking about putting my entire spreadsheet of numbers (485 and growing), and the stock number breakdown on my blog.

Too bad by the time he realizes he’ll never get it nobody will be interested even at 10-15k

What nice scores for those who won them.

I,D.,. Warranty gun etc. Lucky dogs!!!!

#34 ·
Indeed you are. Unbelievable score.

Wish I'd thought to register more warranties electronically. Still very slim odds on the Warranty gun regardless.

Very cool. Sounds like it was very well deserved.

Was it given to an ID member at random or were there other factors?

#45 ·
Given at random but some people had more entries. Glock ID has 25 "levels". You get one entry per level. I was at level 24, so got 24 entries, but still, there were at least 10,000 or so active members at the time of the drawing.

I think the store wants to sell it but is extremely greedy and thinks that someone that has 50k to drop on a firearm was born yesterday. Reminds me of sellers on GunBroker that seem more interested in posting what they have then selling. The time to sell was when they first won.

That's impressive that u would go above that. I thought 8 was an over estimate.

Eventually one will go up for sale (besides the $50K) one. I'll look forward to seeing what these bring on the open market.

I look forward to it as well. So I can outbid you again. :p

Wow. Congrats. Was well deserved.

I should have registered more guns online for a better shot at warranty gun. Still, imagine odds on that one were very long.

Very tough odds I'm sure.
