I was wondering what everyone did with their sights.

I have replaced the sights on every Glock I acquired, and in the past decade or so, done so prior to putting a single round downrange.

Current favorite: Trijicon HD, yellow paint on the front sight, green tritium front and yellow tritium rear. GL101Y-RY

It’s all a personal preference thing. Some folks like night sights while others don’t . No wrong answers. I prefer TroGlos on mine with the exception of my 19C (exhaust gases are hard on tritium, ask me how I know, lol)

Simply put if it doesn't come with night sights it will have them on it very soon.

I was thinking of installing GLOCK OEM STEEL SIGHTS that resemble the plastic sights on one of my Glocks, but I dont want to damage my slide without the proper tools, I might bring it to a local indoor range that has a gunsmith that specializes in installing sights and other repairs

Well, yes, but eventually reinstalled the stock sights.

I had at least two, and maybe three, Glocks retrofitted with tritium night sights. I never thought they were bright enough to make any difference except in near darkness. And, my thinking went, what good are night sights if you can't discern the target? Anyway, when the glow of the sights eventually faded, I didn't like the small size of remaining dots. So, I reinstalled the stock sights.

Instead of night sights, my house gun has a bright Streamlight *and* a Crimson Trace laser sight. Those are my night sights.

My 26 Gen 3 wears Truglo TFX Pros. All I needed to swap out the factory sights was a wooden dowel as my punch for the rear and the tool for the front sight! I could not believe how easy it was!!
