I got what I believe is a Gen4 grip plug as part of a deal. It is thinner than a Gen3 plug and has a similar half-moon ramp at back. But it appears to have had a little mounting nub on back that has been removed. Since I don't own any Gen4s, can somebody help with this puzzle?
The Gen 4 grip plugs that I have, are a slightly different shape, but function just as the the previous Gen (1, 2, & 3) grip plugs. "Nubs" on the "full size" and "compact", friction fit on the smaller ones.
It appears that the OP "feels" that he was owed an answer within minutes of starting his thread. That is an unreasonable expectation, especially since the question has nothing to do with bonafide Glock products.
Perhaps responses would have rolled in by the thousands in the first 15 minutes, if the same question had been posted on the WorthlessAftermarketGimmickTalk forum.
For all the Holier than Thou's - I found the info I needed on youtube and it mounts with a screw, which is missing. An email to the manufacturer has one on the way.
Mike - put down the kool-aid, it's really getting old.

That's one of the reasons I was puzzled. I had no idea at first what brand it was so I did a generic search. Some of the Gen4 plugs clearly had the little nub like the Gen3's and I noticed mine had been cut off. I had no idea that it took a screw until I figured out what brand it was.
Sounds like you have a Jentra brand plug. When Gen 4's came out I think they beat eveybody to the market with the grip plug. It would only work without the backstraps in place and had the little screw. I remember putting one in my department issued model 31. May be wrong on the date but maybe 2011 or so.
Hey newbie, I've been here 18 years. Comments like yours are exactly why GT has gone down hill.
