i have for sale/trade a Glock 19 Gen 4 slide and barrel from a Talo edition Gun. Has the ameriglo front and u-notch rear sights. Looks unfired. Number on slide and barrel match. Has some copper colored lubricant on the rails that looks like anti seize. Would be interested in trade for some good IWB gun leather or a kydex IWB holster. Or various other things like red dot sights (pistol or rifle), magazines, bulk ammo, etc. I haven’t a clue as to the value of this, so please, make an offer. You’d be hard pressed to offend me.

Cute. Anything helpful to add? He offered a full cash with no questions asked. I clearly stated that I had no clue what is was worth and only inserted a price to follow the rules. And I am legitimately interested in making this right, so pardon me, but I’m not keen on smart ass comments at this particular moment. I intend to do business here in the future and would not like an issue like this to go unresolved

I did not depict otherwise.
If you feel you want a refund, I will make that happen.
I said that a slide and barrel were for sale, not that a complete
glock upper half was for sale.
I don't know about that, you say
"with Ameriglo U notch sights.
I don't see sights not included in the post.
Unless he got it with the sights, then it is a good deal

Since you've withdrawn your offer to refund my money, I thought I'd post the photo that you sent that led me to believe that I was receiving a slide with internal parts.

I realize that I've once again learned the expensive lesson that is often taught in internet purchase 101:

Caveat Emptor!

If you had any doubts or any questions you should have asked them before purchasing. No where in his ad did it state "complete slide and barrel with internals". You actually got a pretty good deal as most complete uppers with barrels go for $350 or more, plus the sights are worth $75 or so.

slide and barrel for $250 pretty good price with or without sights I almost jumped on it myself but went too quick

I don’t mean to be rude so please don’t take this the wrong way, but your response of “buyer beware with all new members” makes me feel worse about the situation. I may be new to the forum, but I feel like this was still handled in an appropriate manner. This is the only firearms forum I have contributed to in any way simply because it seems to have a pretty good group of regulars. If you had inquired about the slide and barrel, would you have been upset at what you received? I want an honest answer so that I can move forward down the right path.

So are you keeping the slide and such or putting it back on the market? Asking for a friend... (pm me if you’re selling it)
