I did send him a message on there, but since you say this, I already clicked report to Ebay for counterfeit item. If a few more of you do the same, I am sure it will be taken down.
I sent him a friendly note. I figured that it was an honest mistake - like the vast majority of Gen 1 19 claims. I didn't realize that the seller had a history of this kind of stuff. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm tempted to click buy now and then just never pay. EBay's policies allow buyers to renig with no consequence which seems appropriate given that the seller is trying to deceive everyone.
No, they have a truly assinine system (from a sellers standpoint). A seller is only allowed to give positive feedback for a buyer. A buyer can give negative feedback to the seller and eBay will not remove it for any reason, ever (say, the buyer was mad because he purchased a clearly labeled "Glock 21 barrel, factory .45 acp" that he didn't realize wouldn't shoot 10mm until he had it in his hands... Not that that would ever happen to me or anything... ).
Just as a comical side note: eBay also allows the sale of gun parts provided they are not for "assault weapons" and that they will not make a non-functional gun functional again... That's the real policy and there doesn't seem to be a single person in the company with enough gun sense to know that EVERY part could make a gun functional again. Lol!!!
Well I have an old list (for an old guy) that starts at SN/ DN 03/88. This list was from Glock many years ago. It is sometimes good to be old. Regards to you.
Really. I don't even care if a used gun I buy comes with a box. I have a like new 2005 era G24C that came with nothing but the magazine in it. Doesn't matter, I paid 55 percent of what they go for new.

From an economical standpoint, I tend to agree. But as a regular Armslist trader, I'm always on the lookout for stuff that might not be kosher, and a modern pistol that doesn't have the good factory stuff that nobody would have thrown away, always tweaks my Spydie senses.
A Glock that comes with nothing but a single magazine, that doesn't have the (relatively) nice hard case, cleaning rig, and spare magazine, always raises my concern that it may have been stolen from a bedside drawer or car console.
The seller has to go the extra mile to convince me everything's on the up-and-up, or I bail fast from these deals.
