Has anyone seen a gen 5 g19 with USA stamped on the slide like the gen 3 and 4's? I haven't heard if any of the gen 5's are being made here but saw on gallery of guns that some of them are being advertised as gen 5 g19 USA and some just say gen 5 g19. There aren't pictures of the actual gun available. Thanks in advance.

Both my GEN 5's, the G-19 and G-17 are stamped Austria...haven't seen any with a USA stamp. my guns were sold in Oregon, and have full 15 and 17 round magazines...I'm not sure what the other restricted States are getting...

Yes, there are USA made G17 and G19 Gen5 pistols. The part numbers will start with UA instead of PA, for example UA1750203 is a USA made G17 Gen5 with standard capacity magazines and poly sights. A USA G19 Gen5 with the same specs would be UA1950203.

Yeah I came across one earlier today in my local LE store. Put some money down on it, cause I didn't' have my creds to finish the sale. Went back later and they had closed at 2 pm...:( Have to wait until Monday to get it.

I was on the hunt for a blue label USA 4th Gen a while back but never found one. With Glocks it doesn't really matter to me Austria or USA, I just think the USA are cool with the proof marks on them.

With current Production Glocks, your getting the same, Austrian made or USA made, doesn't matter. Way back when things may have been different, slide finish etc, but other than the roll mark and proofs, there isn't any difference now.

From what I have been told, by some of our LE guys at Glock, the USA made guns are actually produced here, frame, barrel, slide most major parts. They are made of the same grade steel that is used in Austria, and made on the same machines they use in Austria, I was told Most all of the machines here were moved from the plants in Austria originally. Everything is made to the same specs and so on.

I currently have an Austrian 19.5 and the USA one I came across today, honestly looked better finished overall. The finish was darker on the slide, the lockup seemed tighter, and the rear sight was centered.

Since I never located a USA 4th gen, this was a no brainer and plus I always wanted a USA glock. FYI, I will have an Austrian 5th gen available soon...:)

That part number would be UA1950202 for poly sights. UA1950302AB would be with Ameriglo Bold sights and UA1950302 would be with Glock OEM night sights. Your local Glock Sub-D can order these.

I am not aware of Glock Smyrna making any 10mm models at this time. However, *if* they did the Blue Label part number would be UG2950202. Please note that this part number is NOT real - asking your Blue Label dealer to get one will just tick them off.

Well I feel pretty lucky to have run across one, at least right now. If in fact Glock is manufacturing them here to keep up with demand, I suspect more will start showing up.

I know a lot of folks prefer the Austrian ones, but I like having something a little out of the norm.

USA made Gen 5 and not Austria?
Exeter NH SIG and not W. Germany?
Winchester pump shotgun made in Turkey?
Yep...............tells me plenty, but to each their own.
Yes. Made in Turkey is the same thing as made in the USA.

Made in the USA Toyota trucks are awesome! You would say that’s as bad as Dodge trucks made in Mexico.

I’d like to see iPhones made in the USA too.

Actually, no.....Winchester no longer produces their true 'Defender' series shotguns with extended mag tubes and wood furniture (1200/1300 or Ranger series).
US-made SIGs do not bring the premium that their European counterparts do for a reason.
US-made Glocks may be just fine quality-wise and likely are but there are many folks who prefer the firearm to come from the original country of origin.

For some reason, USA made Glocks seem to mostly ship overseas. I only have one USA made G19 and that's probably the main reason I bought it. :)
I have Gen3 USA-made G19. I got it in May. I work at a gunstore in GA so our buyer had it for me in 2 days. I see Gen 3's and 4's that are USA-made but not a Gen5 so far.
