Why does the 357 rock for you40 S&W sucks
357 Sig rocks
45ACP is best in a 1911
Glock 32 gets my vote
Why not just get a 32 barrel for your 23 and with the money you save buy ammo?I have a 23.4 and carry it every day.
I have a 30.3 and love it.
I have a 32.4 on my Christmas wishlist. If the list isn’t fulfilled, I’m buying it for myself.
Because I would rather buy one more gun than have a spare barrel, and saving money to buy ammo is not a problem for me at this point in my life.
The G32 is a good choice even with a G23. To 100-percent convert a Gen4 G23 to G32 takes an OEM G32 barrel, a 30499 ejector in 30561 trigger mechanism housing, and a 6.9mm rear sight. But the slide will still say G23. There's something satisfying about owning a "pure" product for the chosen caliberBecause I would rather buy one more gun than have a spare barrel, and saving money to buy ammo is not a problem for me at this point in my life.
That's the reason I have 4 Glocks, and refuse to ever convert calibers. 9mm, .357 Sig and 10mm do everything I ever need a pistol to do. Not that anything is wrong with converting, but it's just not something I personally want to do. Then I would have to keep up with what's what, what part went where, where I put it, and have to make little storage compartments for the stuff, to keep it separate and organized. The KISS principle works very well for my old brain. The G32 is a good choice even with a G23. It could, very well, be the best self defense handgun caliber for ccw, in existence. [emoji106][emoji123][emoji109]Why does the 357 rock for you
Yup...40 s&w barrel for range practice, 357sig barrel for carry. It's a non issue.Well, for me, 357SIG is a great all around cartridge with great ballistics, check out the numbers for yourself. I swear that after leaving the barrel, the projo 'bout sprouts wings and a jet engine out it's arse ...it's one flat shootin' round that packs a decent whallop.
The major complaint I've ways heard about the cartridge is the cost of it, but for good respectable self defense 357SIG fodder you'll pay near equivelent prices for calibers like 45ACP, etc. Prvi Partisan 357SIG can be had for $17-$18 a box of 50, in either truncated FMJ or JHP. And yes that's nearly twice what you'll pay for cheap 9mm ball, but in retrospect, everything has it's purpose...
Another thing I like about the cartridge is that I can easily find fairly inexpensive handguns chambered in the now heavily-chastised-nobody-wants-it-anymore .40S&W cartridge that can easily be converted to 357SIG with just a barrel swap, and I really like that!
357 Sig can reach 2,000fps out of a 4" barrel. A 40s&w can only dream of that.357 sig needs more barrel, doesn’t impress me over a 135gn 40s&w except for feeding with a necked down round but we’re talking glock.
He's obviously a follower, it's not cool to like 40 in all truth most people who bash it, can't shoot, can't manage recoil and probably should stick with 22lr or 380 ,I own mostly 40 and 357sig and there's not much difference other than the sound, sorry I get so sick of the 9mm cult I had to say somethingWhy does the 357 rock for you
