I finally made it to the range with my 17.5 which functioned flawlessly and really like it.
One of my objectives was to ops check my 6 new 10 round neutered glock mags (Three are for my 17 and the other three are for my 19) All 6 worked fine. (only need them because I'm about to be stationed back in Cali.
I shot 275 rounds through the 17.5 and 50 through my 19.4
Pros:
-I really like the new trigger
-I think I like the feel of the lack of finger grooves
-My groupings are better than the 17.3s that I've shot in the past and were slightly better than my groupings with my 19
-As expected, cycled everything that I fed her including a 50 round box of my carry load.
Cons:
-I was more comfortable firing fast follow-up shots with my 19 that I've trained with (understandable). I believe this is due to the 3 dot night sights that I have on my 19 but it could be the finger grooves??
Overall, I'm happy. Just need to spend more time with the 17 and decide what sights I want to put on her.
